He is often Known as Sachin Tendulkar, But his Real Name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar,he is the best ever Cricketer
that ever India had Produced. He was born on April 24, 1973 in Mumbai. He Studied up to 10th in at Sharadashram Vidyamandir
School in Mumbai. He had shown interest in cricket from his very small age and started playing cricket at a very young age.
He played his first international TEST match at the age of 16, which was a record at that time because of concerning age for a
Debutant. He had debut match against the Pakistan in a test match on 1989 at Karachi. His one-day international (ODI) debut was on
December 18 against the same country Pakistan at gujranwala, 1989/90.For nearly 70 ODI's sachin did not scored a single
century. He scored his maiden ODI century on September 9, 1994 against Australia in Sri Lanka at Colombo, It took six years
for him to score a century after debut. From there onwards the small master blaster had created many records and centuries, he has so far scored a record 40 ODI centuries. Sachin for the past 5 years holding the record for having taken most one-day runs now he is currently (16,000+) and centuries (42).
Sachin belongs to the group of rare sportsmen, such a caliber he has shown to the game. He is a real gentlemen both on the field and off the field his records in One Day Internationals might never be broken. Sachin Tendulkar has also captained
India for few years. He won the PEPSI cup at 1997 against South Africa in the Finals.
At School:
Tendulkars best friend is Vinod Kambli who has also played for India. From their school days they are best friends. Once
happened a interesting incident when they played a match for their school they both scored 100 runs and carried on to batting even though their captain and coach wanted to declare. Vinod told tendulkar not to see them and just keep on playing. They both scored a record partnership of more than 500 runs.
Even though he quit his studies he made his country proud and he own a hotel.
His Family:
Ramesh Tedulkar had his love marriage with Anjali Mehta, a Gujarati based doctor who is actually 2 years elder than him. They have two children Sarah and Arjun.His Sister is Savita Tendulkar and Brothers are Nitin Tendulkar, Ajit Tendulkar
Partnerships:
Scahin and Ganguly both had dominated the Cricket as the Opening Pair with far more sucess than any other at the time of both
being opening for the Country. They had first ever created a record of first wicket partnership of scoring 250 runs for the
first wicket.
Sachin Tendulkar Scored 186 against New Zealand at 2001/02 is his best ever score so far in ODI.In that historic match he and
Rahul Dravid the WALL of INDIA both shared a partnership of more than 330 runs which still holds to be the best ever
Partnership for the SECOND WICKET and for all the wickets.
In the last before worldcup Sachin bagged the Man of the Series for hi contribution of more than 600 runs in that series.
He had won more man of the match awards and had always performed for the team when ever it’s needed.
Sachin has got Khel Ratna award in the year 1997/1998
